Everybody at MAC design + build, from the owners to the architects to the construction clean-up crew is on the same team – your team. We are all accountable for meeting your expectations.

Derek’s responsibility at MAC design + build is business development — sales, estimating and design, however, his role is to take clients to wherever their goals are for their projects. He is the first person to meet with clients and the one who drives the entire project, assembling teams, assigning project managers, and staying in touch with the client on a weekly basis.

Jaya Tracey serves as the Chief Operations Officer, bringing more than 15 years of experience in operations, finance, and project management. She has built a reputation for optimizing business processes, strengthening financial performance, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Jaya holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), combining a strong academic foundation with practical leadership expertise. Her strategic approach and commitment to operational excellence have enabled her to drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and support sustainable business growth.
Beyond her professional career, Jaya is passionate about giving back to her community through her volunteer work with Central Virginia Burn Camp, where she supports programs that empower and inspire youth burn survivors.
